Types of Cloud Hosting in India

Cloud Hosting:
Before moving into the different types of Cloud hosting let us have the information about what is cloud Hosting- Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand.
Cloud computing is usually described in one of two ways. Either based on the cloud location, or on the service that the cloud is offering.

There are three forms of cloud computing: public clouds, private clouds, and hybrids clouds. It is depend upon the data you chose to work with, but you’ll want to compare public, private, and hybrid clouds in different terms of levels of security and management required. But cloud computing usually described in two ways, based on cloud location or on the cloud offering the service.

Public cloud:
Public clouds are mainly owned and operated by companies that offer rapid access over a public network to affordable computing resources. In public cloud the whole computing infrastructure is located on the premises of a cloud computing company that offers the cloud service. In public cloud services, users don’t need to purchase the hardware, software or supporting infrastructure,as it is owned and managed by providers. And the customer has no control over the infrastructure.
There are some limitations, however; the public cloud may not be the right fit for every organization. The model can set a limit for configuration, security and SLA, making it less ideal for services using sensitive data to compliance the regulations.

Private Cloud:

Private clouds are data center architectures which are owned by a single company that provides flexibility, scalability, provisioning, automation and monitoring. The goal of a private cloud is not sell “as-a-service” offerings to external customers, but it is an instead to gain the benefits of cloud architecture without giving up the control of maintaining your own data center.

In this clouds the companies have an option of choosing an on-premise private cloud, but it is quite expensive, has they have the physical control over the infrastructure. But undertaking a private cloud project requires a significant level and degree of
engagement to virtualize the business environment, and requires the organization to reevaluate decisions about existing resources.

Hybrid cloud :
Hybrid cloud this is an composition of two or more clouds (private, community or public) that remain distinct entities but are bound together, offering the benefits of multiple deployment models. Hybrid cloud can also mean the ability to connect colocation, managed and/or dedicated services with cloud resources. Most companies with private clouds will evolve to manage workloads across data centers, private clouds, and public clouds—thereby creating hybrid clouds.
With the help of Hybrid cloud, companies can maintain control of an internally managed private cloud with relying on the public cloud. This will also beneficial during outrages.

While there are lower cost solutions and alternatives the lower down the spectrum an organization gets, the capability to recover data quickly reduces.A hybrid cloud service crosses isolation and provider boundaries so that it can’t be simply put in one category of private, public, or community cloud service. It allows one to extend either the capacity or the capability of a cloud service, by aggregation, integration or customization with another cloud service.

Community cloud :
In community cloud it shares its infrastructure between several organisation to an specific community with common concern. whether managed internally or by a third-party, and either hosted internally or externally. The cost in community is spread over few users of public cloud, so only some of the cost saving potential of cloud computing are realized.
It usually shares data and data management concerns, like it can belong to single country. Community clouds can be located both on and off the premises.
